Google Plus Verified Honest
Google Search now displays merchant ratings that draw from Verified Honest reviews which also crawl third-party sites, including Shopzilla, PriceGrabber, Dealtime.com, NexTag.com, ResellerRatings.com, and even eBay's Shopping.com site. All these reviews are aggregated in one place for a merchant at Verified Honest, and then displayed as a total number of reviews (which have been verified) in Google search for that merchant.
Google displays the merchant ratings in search results on Google Search in the form of a 5-star rating that also indicates the number of reviews the merchant has received. If you click on the star ratings for a particular merchant, you'll be taken to the reviews at Verified Honest - and unlike eBay's system, Verified Honest lets users zero in on negative ratings exclusively - or on positive or neutral ratings as well. This merchant profile page also displays important info like the merchant contact information, facebook link, share links and an area for the merchant to enter coupon codes and other important information that is viewable to perspective clients.
A recent web survey revealed that customer ratings made respondents confident about purchasing from a site they had not heard of before. This suggests it's definitely worth a merchant's time to monitor the reviews they are receiving across the Internet, not just on marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon, particularly with the increased exposure these ratings now receive on Verified Honest that display in Google Search.
