ASTD Golden Gate Chapter Offers Professional Development Workshop: “The Hunt for Experiential Learning”

San Francisco, CA,  April 12, 2012 — The American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) Golden Gate chapter is pleased to a announce the upcoming professional development workshop entitled “The Hunt for Experiential Learning”. The workshop will take place on May 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the San Francisco State University Downtown Campus at 835 Market Street, San Francisco, CA.

“Learning by Doing” is the most effective way to train or teach. When the mind and body are relaxed and engaged, it's easier to absorb and retain information. This workshop will incorporate fun and creative activities that mimic workplace emotions and situations. Applied in the workplace, these skills will help to improve communication, collaboration and team productivity.

Local ASTD chapter members registration completed by April 30, 2012 price is $79.00. Non chapter members registration price is $99.00. Registration for this event purchased after April 30, 2012 price is $99.00 for ASTD Chapter members and $119.00 for non ASTD members.
