By: Ralph Lendez the cast, writer, and director. Brian Brecht is a gay movie star trying to stay in the closet to protect his acting career. He travels to Miami on a publicity tour. Paparazzi are watching his every move, but he can't help falling in love with a handsome and sexy bartender at the hotel. In an attempt to hide Brian's sexual preferences, his manager brings a woman to help her keep the secret posing as his lover, a well known evangelist arranges an assassination while a woman finds herself in danger because of her abusive ex. At the end, the lives of these characters will collide. During a phone interview with The M Report, St. Leon said she always wanted to do a "film film." Lost Everything was photographed using actual 16mm film. While the essential story in the script is more indicative of the time in which it was written, that of the 1990s, St. Leon determined the shooting style should be selfsame. She filmed over the course of three weeks during the summer 2007 in and near the city of Miami. “Lost Everything” is a thriller that combines power, love, lies and deception.
