Her campaign reported raising more than $70,000 in just 75 days after declaring her candidacy for the newly drawn 78th Legislative District. Her first treasurer’s report shows broad support from across Lee County, moves Fitzenhagen to front runner status, and breaks previous records set by other candidates in the region. The amount raised is more than double that raised by either of her opponents.
“I am incredibly grateful to have an outstanding campaign committee who went above and beyond expectations to surpass our campaign finance goals for the first quarter,” says Fitzenhagen. “I am most grateful to our community supporters, friends and family who gave their time and generosity to the campaign and continue to encourage and support me,” adds Fitzenhagen.
