With the Crowdfund Act barely in post-ink status, many new Crowdfunding websites are poised for launch. However, Entrepreneurs need to take caution, the SEC has yet to announce the new rules surrounding this new law. Until the SEC hands down the rules, the old rules still apply, which means Crowdfunding, where securities investments are involved, is still a no-no. The SEC has until January 2013 to configure the rules, so look for many new beta websites to launch in anticipation of this new law.
