VMI Cadet Interns With JES Foundation Repair

April 12, 2012 - PRLog -- CHESTER, VA (April 12, 2012) — JES, a leading engineering solutions company specializing in foundation repair, basement waterproofing and crawl space moisture control had VMI Cadet, Will Luxhoj, as an intern for the day.

Luxhoj, a freshman, is studying Civil Engineering and contacted VMI alumni, David E. Stinnette, PE to learn more about the industry. Stinnette not only answered Luxhoj’s questions but was also able to have Luxhoj intern with JES for a day.

Luxhoj accompanied Stinnette on the “Millworks Headstock” project, in Richmond, where JES was installing helical piles. Luxhoj was able to review the helical pile design, observe installation and assist with the torque readings which were recorded during installation.
