The weekend’s highly awaited show will feature some of the most admired local and international names in Middle Eastern dance – including the famed master instructors themselves. Taking place on Saturday night of the festival, the curtains will unveil authentic Egyptian pieces fusing unforgettable music with sensational movements and spectacular choreographies, exploring the full spectrum of this popular art form. Egyptia 2012's mission is to preserve and promote Near and Middle Eastern dance and culture through an authentic and entertaining curriculum for all audiences and participants. This festival will inspire people to dance, while expanding community awareness of the performing arts by providing a global platform to showcase the beauty of this art form. To give back to the community, a portion of the event's proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society in hopes of spreading the importance of cancer awareness and helping families in need.
