Edmonton SIGNARAMA Celebrates Expansion with Donations and Open House

April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Edmonton SIGNARAMA is inviting the public to attend an open house Wednesday, May 2, noon – 3:00 p.m., at their newly expanded facilities, 10608-170 Street.  

During the event Colin Reid, Edmonton SIGNARAMA owner, will announce the 2012 winners of the company’s third annual Signs of Support, a grant program that will provide up to $7,500 in free and discounted signage to local nonprofit and charitable organizations.

Edmonton SIGNARAMA is accepting applications for the program through April 30, 2012. Groups can request signs for events and can include interior or exterior, temporary or permanent needs. Groups are eligible to apply for the Signs of Support program if they are a local nonprofit organization, local affiliate of registered charities, local non-government civic organization or part of the Edmonton public school system.

According to Reid, Signs of Support is focused on supporting groups’ missions through replacement or creation of effective, affordable signage.  

On the day of the open house, attendees who bring canned goods for Edmonton’s Food Bank will be entered into a drawing for a variety of prizes and giveaways.

Reid’s business expansion has effectively doubled their operating space.  He said, “The additional space gave us the capacity to purchase a FujiFilm Acuity Advance LT UV Flatbed Printer with white ink option that allows us to diversify our capabilities.”

He explained that the new flatbed printer can print any color on virtually any material – paper, fabric, glass and wood – up to four feet by eight feet in size.
