Cutting-Edge Skin Care Line Celebrates 10 Years and launching new logo/branding.

April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Ten years ago marked the beginning of a new era in skin care.  This is when a mother/daughter team began the company Paradise Skin Products based out of Maui, Hawaii.  Susan saw the need to create a skin care product unlike any other and created a line of products that are Chiral Correct.

What's the big deal about having something Chiral Correct? In the 1950s, many pregnant women taking the drug Thalidomide for morning sickness gave birth to babies with severe birth defects. It was later discovered that while the chiral version of this drug curbed the morning sickness and did no harm to the babies, the nonchiral version of the drug actually caused devastating birth defects.  Another example is the more commonly known drug Allegra.  It's manufacturer decided to cut costs making Allegra's sibling Seldane.  This product was introduced in 1985 and by 1990 the FDA began seeing a dramatic increase of toxicity in the heart causing fatal reactions.  Seldane was pulled from shelves while the chiral correct Allegra made it's final and permanent appearance.

In January 2002, Susan began working with chemists to develop a line of products using this technology and applying it to skin care.  Immediately results showed that products could use higher percentages of ingredients without the irritation.  For example, someone who gets irritated from a 5% Vitamin C will most likely not have issues with Paradise Skin Product's 20% Vitamin C product.  This allows customers to receive optimal benefits of vitamins and peptides without negative side effects.

Paradise Skin Products would like to announce it's 10 Year Anniversary in January 2012.  Through years of development Susan and Megan have created a well-rounded skin care line including highly sought after natural ingredients such as peptides, DMAE, and Hyaluronic Acid while including time tested ingredients such as green tea, witch hazel, and chocolate.  This natural skin care line has been called "Purer than Organic" and is environmentally friendly by not overharvesting ingredients that are in low supply.

Slated to begin Summer 2012, Paradise Skin Products will be launching their new logo and packaging.  Their new logo consists of an Olive branch, which will symbolize the natural concept of their skin care line.

Paradise Skin Product's started out with one product, the Cherry Hydrator and has developed over 60 different SKUs.  They have won the coveted prize of Cleanser of the Year for their Herbal Wash, a Must Have title for their Sugar N Spice Toner and have been featured on Yahoo for their renown pH balanced cleansers. Their products can be found in spas in Hawaii as well as across the nation.
