The Annual Vista Strawberry Festival – A Day Full of Food, Fun and Memories!

April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- VISTA, CA, April 3, 2012 – The Annual Vista Strawberry Festival, sponsored by Tri-City Medical Center (http://www.tricitymed.org) and brought to you by the Vista Chamber of Commerce and the Vista Village Business Association, is back for 2012! The Festival kicks off on Sunday, May 27, 2012 at 7:35am with the Strawberry 5,000 run followed by a pie eating contest, strawberry costume contest, Strawberry Idol and more! Don’t miss this exciting day full of food, fun, memories and of course – strawberries!

The Vista Strawberry Festival is the only festival in San Diego County that celebrates all the joys and pleasure of the Strawberry. Why strawberries? - Vista was once the “Strawberry Capital of the World” and still boasts many strawberry fields. This year’s celebration of the ‘berry will bring over 200 vendors, athletic competition, pie eating, costumes and beauty contests, carnival rides, music, food, and much more!
