Now in its 12th year, AIDF returns to Washington D.C on 6-7 June. The free to attend event looks to assist in effective coordinated international disaster response by providing a platform for NGOs, UN agencies, international aid agencies and governments to build relationships, address humanitarian aid delivery issues and discuss development challenges.
Key Travel will be exhibiting at AIDF and is also taking part in a session on ‘Safety of Personnel in the Field’, an area of increasing concern. Increased violence against those providing humanitarian relief is well-documented:
