Tissot Watches Representative Danica Patrick Fails to Finish at Fontana

April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Patrick started the race as the twenty-first on the grid and stayed there for much of the race before picking up trackside debris during the race, the car eventually suffered from a punctured radiator.  The problem was severe enough to end her participation in the  Royal Purple 300 as the Auto Club Speedway ending her participation in the race at 65 laps and leaving her 35th position overall.

The driver and Tissot Watches Ambassador is currently competing in a Chevrolet Impala decked out in her number 10 logoed car in the Sprint Cup series  and in her famous ‘lucky 7” car in the NASCAR Nationwide series,  is best known for her third place finish in the 2009 Indianapolis 500.  The watches wearing Wisconsin native celebrated her 30th birthday the day after the race was looking to improve on her 2010 finish in 30th place.  The move to the more competitive format is helping the Tissot Watches Ambassador in her pursuit of glory on the Nationwide circuit.

She made the leap from a split between open wheel racing format and the Nationwide Series in to a limited competition in NASCAR’s most prestigious tournament, the Sprint Cup series with her opening drive at this season’s Daytona events including the 500 series.  She continues to drive part time in nationwide series races.
