YOU ARE INVITED to join the Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity for a preview and reception as we celebrate the fabulous use of cardboard for creative and utilitarian purposes. Join us on Sunday, April 15 from noon to 3 p.m. Awards will be presented at 1 p.m.

The cardboard contest is produced in association with Engineering & Humanity Week 2012. (www.EandHweek.org)

Complimentary wine, beer, and hors d'oeuvres provided.  Free and open to the public.

Engineering and Humanity Week provides in-depth exposure to global economics, cultural awareness, collaborative leadership, and principles of sustainability.  “Through the power of engineering—steeped in practical solutions, collaboration with partners, and a commitment to the principles of humanity—we will work to meet the challenges of the developing world,” says Stephanie Hunt, the event’s founder and chairwoman.  

Engineering & Humanity Week is sponsored by Hunter and Stephanie Hunt, the Hunt Institute for Engineering and Humanity at Southern Methodist University’s Lyle School of Engineering and the University of Oxford’s Refugee Studies Center.
