Baltimore, MD – The NOH8 campaign will hold a public photo session Friday, April 13th from 5 to 8 p.m., at The Club Hippo.

The NOH8 Campaign is a photographic silent protest originally created by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska (http://www.bouska.net) and partner Jeff Parshley in 2008 as a protest of California’s Proposition 8 ban against gay marriage. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with "NOH8" painted on one cheek in protest.

To participate in the NOH8 photo shoot:

•   Individuals need to show up and register between 5 and 8 p.m. Every one still in line at 8 p.m. will have a photo taken.
•   Wear a plain white shirt.
•   A temporary NOH8 tattoo will be supplied.
•   Sign a model release.
•   Photographer Adam Bouska will shoot around 10 to 15 frames. He will choose and edit one photo of each person, which will be posted on the NOH8 website. Participants can download the photo for their own use. No outtakes will be available.
•   It usually takes at least 2 to 4 weeks to process, edit and post photos from a shoot. Individuals will be notified by e-mail when their photo is available.
•   Cost for individual shots is $40 per person and any couple or group shots are $25 per person.
