Folk and Black Metal Collide in Great New Metal Authority Andrew Veirtz's Watch List

April 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Folk music might seem like the opposite end of the musical spectrum from Black Metal but you'll find the intersection of the two styles in the newly released Watch List from Great New Metal Authority Andrew Veirtz

As members of the Watch List, these bands will be the subject of feature stories and their fans will be encouraged to show their dedication and support by participating in our video contest. Bands on the Watch List will be first in line to become future winners of Andrew's Seal of Approval. That designation will earn them a full month of intensive daily coverage plus the ability to partner with our Signature Designers to create an exclusive licensed t-shirt that will earn them revenue.

Sektemtum- "Groove-tastic black metal that combines a tribal Gojira-like stomp with lizard demon vocals."

Hail Spirit Noir- "An unusual mix of old-school Mercyful Fate incantations and slithery black metal."
