Steatite Announces The Merger Of Steatite Blazepoint With Rugged Systems.

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 10, 2012 - Following the acquisition of Blazepoint assets in October last year, Steatite has merged the capabilities of both the Steatite Blazepoint and Rugged Systems divisions in a move to strengthen its rugged branding and offering. As of 1st April 2012 the newly formed division will trade under the Steatite Rugged Systems brand and continue to sit under the Steatite arm of Solid State PLC.

Steatite Rugged Systems has built a strong reputation for supplying rugged mobile computers and rugged laptops into commercial, government, security and military markets. The natural synergy of the organisations together with the enhanced design engineering capability of Steatite Blazepoint and their extensive knowledge of robust mobile computing platforms and rugged laptops, will add a significant value proposition going forward.
