Candice Denise To Teach Aspiring Event Planners At Coppin State University

April 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Media Mogul, Thespian and Event Planner are just a few of the accomplishments of Candice Denise.   Currently starring as part of a trio of women who co-host a show aptly named Her Style TV, Candice Denise brings her special brand of wit, intellect and life experience to an online television and weekly talk radio show where virtually no topic is off-limits.  

On Wednesday April 11th Candice Denise will be offering her expertise to aspiring event planners as part of Coppin State University’s Business School, Entertainment Management program. The program offers education in the areas of general entertainment, video, television and film and Candice will be talking about her journey to emerging as one of the most sought after event planners and entrepreneurs in the DC/MD area.

Though Candice is gaining momentum for her media savvy and infectious personality as a radio talk-show host, she is best known for her extraordinary eye for detail as President and co-owner of Haute Minded Events (HME).  HME was founded in 2007 in Washington DC and thrives on the motto of turning events from hopeless mediocrity to an historic moment.  

HME was evolved and created after Candice Denise served as an intern for Holy Matrimony, where she assisted Style Network’s, Season 7 newest planner Vicky Johnson on the nationally syndicated show Whose Wedding Is It Anyway?   Clearly a testament to her entrepreneurial spirit, she was able to glean the necessary knowledge to not only become an incredible event planner in her own right but to create a new division of Holy Matrimony as a result of this partnership.

As president of HME she has had the opportunity to work for clients in the NFL and affiliated sports organizations and planned destination weddings in Mexico and Jamaica respectively.  

Candice Denise has also been featured in Grace and Mercy Magazine, Trends magazine, Balleralert.com, mydeejay.com (blog article), Wall of Styles Radio Show, “The Magic Hour,” nationally syndicated shows “Say Yes to the Dress,” “The Dr. Oz Show,” Emceeing for TSimone Designs 2010 FALL Fashions line. Her event planning expertise has been highlighted on Destination I Do wedding Blog and Essence.com.  Additionally Candice worked as volunteer screener for WEB-Women Entrepreneur Business Institute and was hired to facilitate a class on wedding/event planning for   Longevity Wedding Planning Institute- College of Southern Maryland.
