Legacy Farms in Nashville Hosts Event to Fight Domestic Abuse

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 9, 2012 - Nashville – On May 3rd, 2012 Legacy Farms Event Center will partner with HomeSafe of Sumner County to host  “Stepping Up and Stepping Out,” a fundraiser for HomeSafe. The Mission of HomeSafe is to provide survivors of domestic violence with support services, advocate for non-violent relationships and homes, and develop greater community awareness and involvement to prevent violence in all domestic relationships.
Stepping Up and Stepping out is HomeSafe’s major fundraising event for 2012 and promises to be a fantastic event.  The event will be a Sinatra-era Las Vegas chic event with live music, stories from survivors of domestic violence, live action paintings, an art auction, full dinner, and personal testimonies about how HomeSafe has impacted our community. Prominent businesses owners and community leaders will be present at the event. Dress for the evening is black tie (optional) and semi-formal and tickets are $75.00. Money from ticket sales, donations, and sponsorships will provide the resources to retain staff and continue to provide comprehensive services so survivors can receive the help they need.
Stepping Up and Stepping Out will be held at the beautiful Legacy Farms Historic Manor & Event Center 8061 Murfreesboro Road, Lebanon, TN 37090. “We are thrilled to be hosting the Home Safe event,” said Legacy Farms event coordinator Kellie Bryson. “Home Safe is a great organization that does so much good in Middle TN. We are proud to partner with them to make this fundraising event a success!”
