On Wednesday, the producer Aida Delgado stated:
"It would not only change the course of my life towards my dream, this production will deliberately remain a team project, and every single step of the process has been or will be completed while providing the collaborators, cast, and crew members, with a voice to contribute to this multi-dimensional and diverse production. It is a very exciting experiment combining all the arts to create and share a portrayal of a distinct time place, and colorful characters."
The fundraising announcement follows the recent pre-production announcement of the play.
The campaign will be managed through IndieGoGo, an international crowd funding site which headquarters are in San Francisco, California. The site has hosted over 45,000 funding campaigns in areas such as music, charity, small business and film.
