Shastri is a well-known and highly respected yoga teacher with an extensive background in yoga philosophy and asana. He has been teaching for 30 years, bringing his deep knowledge of the physical and spiritual aspects of yogic philosophy to his many students.
East Bay Students are discovering what Shastri’s students on the Peninsula already know: this yogi is an extraordinary teacher who brings the entirety of yoga instruction to his students based upon his life immersed in the classical teachings of yoga as developed by the masters of India. Shastri is a yoga adept, thoroughly versed in the physical, energetic, and scriptural principles and practices of hatha yoga.

Mondays, 12:00-1:15pm beginning April 8th - Yoga & Pilates with Praveena
Develop the best of both worlds: the flexibility and balance of yoga coupled with the strong core strength of pilates.
Thursdays, 11:30-12:30pm beginning April 5th - Itsy-Bitsy Yoga with Leslie
It’s never too early to begin building the lifelong practice of yoga. Mom, bring your baby age 3 weeks to almost crawling for this calming, nurturing parent participation class.
(To accomodate this new class, Prabha Duneja’s FREE meditation class moves to Thursdays from 7:15-8:30pm)
Fridays, 12:00-1:15pm beginning April 27th - Lunchtime Yoga with Islena
Our students asked for lunchtime yoga, and we deliver with this concentrated, 75 minute noontime class, perfect for working yogis and yoginis who want the benefits of a full yoga class while maintaining a busy schedule.
The Yoga Fusion, the new center of yoga in the East Bay, is run by Gloria Mazza Persico and Greg Riley, two long-time practitioners and teachers.
