The film highlights visionary risk takers by telling the story of an industry that went on to become the single greatest engine of innovation and economic growth in the 20th century.

Something Ventured was the idea of Paul Holland, a Silicon Valley venture capitalist who is a general partner with Foundation Capital. He and Molly Davis of Rainmaker Communications co-produced the film that was directed by Emmy-Award-winning filmmakers Dan Geller and Dayna Goldfine.
