PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 6, 2012 - Federal agents cracked down on a scam far worse than crack sales, fingering Walgreens Pharmacies for illegally selling prescription narcotics in six of their Florida stores and in a major distribution center servicing multiple states.
The United States Drug Enforcement Agency, a.k.a. DEA, unveiled their findings about widespread abuse of prescription drugs that has now dwarfed the 1.5 million cocaine addictions.
Commenting on this topic is “Doc” Mike Witort, who for years has treated his patients in cooperation with their doctors, to detox them from PDA (Prescription Drug Addiction). He does this in his Chicago suburban Forest Park home and in his Oak Park clinic, as well as by telephone.
Stated Witort, “The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has officially reported that annual deaths from prescription painkillers have quadrupled in the past decade to nearly 15,000 and they admit that this has surpassed all deaths from heroin and cocaine combined! But in reality, the numbers are probably at least triple that.”
Witort added, “Diverting drugs like oxycodone to the streets is big business for Walgreens. They sell this power drug for cash and reorder from their drug addiction accomplices like Pfizer, Goldline, Major, and Schein.”
The flamboyant Witort is not a medical doctor but is able to practice medicine after winning the nation’s largest lawsuit in history for the right to practice medicine without a license, last February in Chicago, which ironically is the headquarters of the AMA and Walgreens. This victory, 10 years in the running, is not just a victory for Witort, who stated, “This is a win for natural medicine and a setback for big pharma.”
The frivolous and malicious prosecution of “Doc” Mike was initiated by Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan in 2002 in a case she assumed would be a slam dunk to make an example of anyone daring to attempt to help people cut back on prescription drugs, but the case backfired both civilly and criminally by 185 pounds of medical bobcat, a.k.a. “Doc” Mike.
“My time in prison gave me even more passion to fight the system to help emancipate people from the bondage of big brother and big pharma.”
In his quest to reduce prescription drug dependency, Witort unrepentantly refers to pharmaceutical company executives as “global parasites.”
