TeamWILD: We Inspire Life with Diabetes, is a new company created to support people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes in becoming healthy through integrated, internet-based education in diabetes and exercise. TeamWILD provides 12, 14, 16 and 18 week training plans in walking, running, triathlon and cycling that integrate expert athletic coaching with expert diabetes and nutrition coaching, along with mental skills coaching.  

TeamWILD athletes can live anywhere in the world as long as they have internet access and the desire to get out and move. Once TeamWILD participants make the mental and physical shift to thinking of themselves as healthy empowered athletes, they need healthy options to support their new lifestyle. TeamWILD is the official training partner of the Tour de Cure, providing training to all 6,000 Red Riders, or cyclists with diabetes at the Tour de Cure.

Mari Ruddy, Director of TeamWILD is the founder of the Red Rider program, and she wanted cyclists with diabetes to have the training and education they deserve in order to have a very successful cycling experience. Thus she created TeamWILD to meet that need.
