April 9, 2012 - PRLog -- A word of warning to those of you travelling with your Bullets4Peace pendants. Kimberly Wyatt has tweeted that she was "attacked" by 10 security guards at a London airport.

"The former Pussycat Dolls singer was on her way to Los Angeles when officials at Heathrow Airport spotted the suspicious item in her luggage. The necklace features a real bullet and is sold by a charity that promotes world peace, but security personnel mistook it for live ammunition and took the star away for questioning.

"attacked by 10 security workers at the airport!! note to self- dont travel with `bullet for peace` necklace in bag!! yikes!!

Haha (sic)," Kimberly wrote on her Twitter page.

The guards eventually let Kimberly go in time to make her flight back to the US. She has been away from her native country for three months while she lived in the UK during her stint as a judge on new reality show Got To Dance, and was thrilled to be home.

"on the ground in lala land!! safe and sound!! :D thanks to everyone that danced with me! (sic)," she wrote.

Kimberly is not the only celebrity fan of "bullets for peace" jewellery to have a run-in with airport security. Rapper Snoop Dogg was questioned at Beirut International Airport last October after guards spotted the fashionable bullet hanging around his neck."

Due to airport restrictions, please make sure you carry your Bullets4Peace pendant safely in your checked baggage rather that carrying it on-board with you, to avoid confiscation of your jewellery.

About Bullets4Peace:
Bullets are generally symbols of chaos and destruction, but Rafi Anteby transforms war bullets into beautiful and unique designer handmade jewellery as a way of spreading consciousness of peace. Bullets4Peace is made of recycled bullet casings taken from reload centres, streets and war zones. When a bullet is fired the tip flies towards the target and the casing falls to the ground. Manufacturers reload these casings with live ammunition Bullets4Peace intercepts this vicious cycle by transforming the casings into unique and stylish fashion jewellery pendants insuring that these bullets will never find their way back to war zones, thus promoting harmony and peace. Each handmade necklace recycles a real bullet casing decorated with pewter and silver casts. Some of the jewellery pieces include crystals or even LED lights. Peace signs, dolphins, microphones and crosses are among the nearly 100 different pendants styles available. Celebrities like Beyonce, Sofia Milos (CSI Miami), Bruno Mars, Max Adler (Glee) are supporting Bullets4Peace with their pendants. Wisin & Yandal featuring Bullets4Peace in their new music video “Tu Olor” and SkyBlu from LMFAO is wearing his Microphone pendant from Bullets4Peace in their music video “Party Rock Anthem” (Every day I’m shufflin’).
