On the “Reno 911” TV show, the city’s police department is bashed beyond belief, and ironically isn’t even filmed in Reno. “Saturday Night Live” Seth Meyers further trashed Reno’s rep with his comment: “According to a new list, the least happiest city in America is St. Petersburg, Fla. But that’s only because Reno, Nevada, finally killed itself.”
Winning awards for the wrong reasons, according to Men’s Health Magazine, Reno is the #2 most drunken city, #3 for liver disease deaths, has one of the highest DUI rates and was awarded an F for overall health.
