ScreenConnect 2.4 – A Leap Forward for Remote Support

Latest release incorporates the joining of multiple technicians to a session, simplified uninstall and upgrade controls for unattended sessions, improved relay service.

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 5, 2012 - Elsinore Technologies (http://www.elsitech.com) announced the latest release of its remote support software, ScreenConnect 2.4. ScreenConnect is a self-hosted remote support solution that provides the capability to access and control computers or servers remotely. The 2.4 release offers a host of new features, including multiple technicians on the same session, IP filtering, additional control over unattended connections, and vast improvements in performance.

The ScreenConnect 2.4 build represents the latest update to the software architecture and facilitates new capabilities for upcoming releases. Though aimed at improving the intelligence of the relay service, 2.4 also includes several key features that were requested by users, such as the ability for multiple technicians to join a session, and improved updating and management of unattended connections. Now, several technicians can collaborate on a single support session, utilizing their respective skills to more efficiently help their customers. The changes to the unattended sessions permit users to update, rename, or remove unattended installations directly from the ScreenConnect host page.
