Hagelou Horse Racing Ltd and Jenny Bae to Host the Hagelou Ascot Prom

April 5, 2012 - PRLog -- London - Hagelou Horse Racing Ltd in partnership with International Thoroughbred Consultants (ITC) and Jenny Bae announces the Hagelou Ascot Prom - a champagne reception, a four-course luncheon and an afternoon of riveting horse racing, on Saturday 12th May 2012 at Ascot Racecourse.

The day will also include:
•   a phenomenal private performance by world-famous violinist Jenny Bae
•   a live auction in aid of the Aegis Trust which works to prevent crimes against humanity, particularly genocide.

The Hagelou Ascot Prom has come to life following the success of the Hagelou Windsor event last October, hosted by founders Heloise Agelou and Jean Pierre de Gaste, which involved the likes of Clive Owen, Sir Michael Parkinson, Maureen Lipman, Lord S. Devine and Mark Foligno.

The Hagelou Ascot Prom is part of the Hagelou Proms series of bespoke events which proudly unite the time-honoured traditions of horse racing with the unfaltering passions of classical music and fine dining.

The Hosts:

Jenny Bae is one of the world's greatest violinists. In 2000, at the age of 20, she performed with Luciano Pavarotti in front of 90,000 people. Since then, she has guest-performed for musicians including Eric Clapton, the band Queen, Lionel Richie, Zucchero and Andrea Bocelli. A Symbol of Peace, an Ambassador to the Red Cross in Asia, Jenny has performed to the presidents in both South and North Korea and was the first South Korean to record with the North Korean Symphony to help raise the money to build hospitals in North Korea. Héloise Agelou is the Founder of Hagelou Horse Racing, working in partnership with I.T.C-International Thoroughbred Consultants. Héloise began her ground breaking career in the South of France as an apprentice jockey landing in the sports section of the national French newspapers for her wins, she moved over to London and worked in the finance sector for 2 years in 2005, by 2008 she boldly threw the two disciplines together and became one of the youngest horse racing managers in the world; she proved her worth with one of her first acquisitions; "Milanais", who became a champion horse in 2008, simultaneously making Héloise and Hagelou a managing force to be reckoned with in a highly competitive industry, Héloise's career has since sky-rocketed to creating syndicates, and an ever expanding stable of well trained winners for her international client base , as well as hosting anticipated racecourse events, after the success of hosting a fundraiser event in aid of Aegis Trust at Royal Windsor and entertaining a guest list including, Clive Owen , Sir Michael Parkinson, Maureen Lipman, Lord S. Jean Pierre de Gaste is chairman of I.T.C-International Thoroughbred Consultants. He began his career in the USA in 1973 where he purchased his first Gr.1 winner, Properantes, at Saratoga in 1974. From 1976, he built up a clients network in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar) where he set up and managed racing stables and studs, as well as in France, Canada and the USA. At the same time, he expanded his clientele in Japan and created a branch of an important Japanese stud in France. He is a frequent buyer in Europe and in the USA: second leading buyer in 2009 at the Keeneland and Fasig-Tipton breeding stock sales with $3 830 000 of purchases, and fourth leading buyer in 2011 at the same auction sales with $4 605 000 of purchases. He buys as well horses in training for the Middle East, among them Premium Tap, winner of the Gr.1 Woodward St., Gr.1 Clark Handicap and second of the Dubai World Cup. Over the years, Jean-Pierre has been also very involved in the sponsoring of main racing events, in particular the Prix du Jockey Club - French Derby- and more recently he initiated the sponsoring of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe's weekend with Qatar.
