CJD Consulting Inc. Joins "Walk Now For Autism Speaks"

April 5, 2012 - PRLog -- CJD Consulting Inc. is giving back to the community by forming their own "Walk Now For Autism" fundraising team.  

CJD Consulting announced that they will be working together by creating team t-shirts as well as challenging each other by reaching out to friends, family, and their communities for the most donations.  Team Captain, Amanda Ross, has put together a mystery prize for the walker who can win the challenge.  The company will also be holding penny wars to help raise money for the event.  According to AutismSpeaks.org, every 20 minutes a child is born with autism.  By fundraising, CJD Consulting Inc. will be able to help generate vital funds for autism research and also raise awareness about the increasing normalcy of autism.  There is such a need for increased research into the causes, treatment, prevention, and cure for autism as so many individuals and families are dealing with the hardships of this disorder.

HR Manager for CJD Consulting, Amanda Ross, got the team involved in the walk this year in honor of her brother, Alex.  Alex was diagnosed with autism 4 years ago at the age of 7.

CJD Consulting Inc. will walk on April 28,2012 at Garfield Park to show their support for Autism and the families that are affected by this disorder.  The team will meet for lunch after the event to celebrate their hard work and reward the walker who was able to raise the most money.
