Great New Metal Authority Jordan Sperry Releases "Watch List."

April 4, 2012 - PRLog -- SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA (GNM) – Proving that all metal doesn’t have to go a million miles per hour, Great New Metal Authority Jordan Sperry is defining his unique brand of some of the world's best up and coming bands with a slower tempo but devastating intensity. In anticipation of his first Seal of Approval Winner, Great New Metal is announcing the twelve bands who have earned a spot on Jordan’s "Watch List."

As members of the Watch List, these bands will be the subject of feature stories and their fans will be encouraged to show their dedication and support by participating in our video contest. Bands on the Watch List will be first in line to become future winners of Jordan’s Seal of Approval. That designation will earn them a full month of intensive daily coverage plus the ability to partner with our Signature Designers to create an exclusive licensed t-shirt that will earn them revenue.

Jordan Sperry's brand includes but isn’t limited to doom, sludge, and post-rock/metal styles.  Jordan  uses his own experiences as a bass player and vocalist to find you the bands with the biggest riffs, most thundering chords, and the greatest potential. If you enjoy anything drenched in heavy down-tuned riffs, bass-in-your-face and crushingly slow but powerful drums, then Jordan Sperry will likely be your favorite Great New Metal Authority.

Great New Metal invites fans of these bands to enter our video contest by making a YouTube video and posting it to the Great New Metal Facebook page.  Tell us why the whole world should know about your favorite Watch List band. The bands with the most passionate fans will be featured in upcoming stories on Great New Metal and move up the list towards winning Seal of Approval status.

This watch list announcement is leading up to the choice of the first eight Seal of Approval (SOA) winners from Great New Metal's Authorities.
