“Fashion stylists are often forgotten in the industry. Yet they bring cohesiveness to photo shoots many designers miss. This event gave them a chance to showcase their talents,” said Lacey B. Smith, Chief Executive Producer/Founder of The Fashion Movement. “Many flock to their television sets on a regular basis to see Rachel Zoe, Brad Zoreski or June Ambrose. This was a stellar opportunity for Central Florida residents to get a bit of reality in their own backyard”, states Ebony Grimsley, owner of Above Promotions Company and publicist for the event.
Each stylist presented four distinct looks. Three of which were chosen by the participants, while the last was selected by The Fashion Movement personnel from Fresh Threads Designer Consignment Store in South Tampa. The first place winner, Amandia Reese-Craig received a $500.00 cash prize and the honor of being the first Eye on Fashion winner.

The exciting event, began at 8 pm and featured a live musical performance by saxophonist Marlon Boone, photographic display by Leandro Gongora and designer collection previews by Mystic Creation and TallyRenee. Guests were also able to watch a hair presentation from Salon Lofts as well as shop from fashion vendors and sample complimentary beer from Presidente Beer and PRP Wine.
