Various attestation routes are described in the Directives which need to be followed, but often manufacturers get lost in the maze of CE Marking. The CE Marking Association offers their services to provide manufacturers with accurate and unbiased help to get products ready for market across the EU.

With their extensive range of testing and compliance services, the CE Marking Association will help to get products or machinery ready for market. With EMC, R&TTE and Low Voltage testing facilities, and Machinery, Pressure Equipment, ATEX and Medical Device expertise in-house, the engineers assess all products in accordance with the applicable harmonised standards.
The CE Marking Association also offers a wide range of training services which will enable manufacturers to CE Mark their own products.
“We can train manufacturers to develop in-company expertise with our extensive range of public or private workshops to enable them to certify their own products, which can dramatically reduce the cost of CE Marking,” says a representative.
Training services include; workshops, in-company group training, shadowing, one-to-one consultancy, and public seminars, either in-company or at their dedicated training facility, covering a wide range of services.
You don’t need to be a member to employ the CE Marking Association’
There may also be the possibility of funding assistance towards some of work required to CE mark your products if you are an SME. Through funding organisations, the CE Marking Association is able to provide help to companies who may require assistance with identifying and meeting their CE Marking and product compliance requirements.
Funding available for this assistance is typically 50%, dependent upon eligibility and location. Applicants must be a UK manufacturing company of less than 250 employees and meet the basic eligibility criteria.
