April 3, 2012 - PRLog -- “Doc Robyn hits it out of the park!” declared Beth Bass, the Executive Director of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association.

The buzz around Dr. Robyn Odegaard's Stop The Drama! learning lab, at the Association’s national convention in Denver, Colorado caused it to be a standing room only event.

•   Why do women’s teams engage in gossip, back-stabbing and catty behavior?
•   What can coaches do beside wait for their difficult team members to graduate?

Doc Robyn literally wrote the book on how to Stop The Drama!  In "Stop The Drama! The Ultimate Guide to Female Teams" she reveals secrets to engaging in effective communication and productive conflict so that teams can maximize their potential, and stop wasting time and energy tearing each other down.

Robyn couldn’t wait to get out of high school and into the “real world” where she thought people would act like adults. Starting her first job at 18, she quickly learned that adults weren’t kind to each other either; they just called it “office politics”

After 14 years working in corporations and being told she was “tactless” and bad at communication, Robyn was able to go to college to learn about human interaction, the ways people have conflicts and disagree. She noticed a pattern: most people were lacking the same basic skills.

After receiving her Doctorate, the newly minted Doc Robyn started her business, Champion Performance Development (www.ChampPerformance.com) to provide executive coaching to athletes and sport psychology to executives.  She founded the Stop The Drama! Campaign (www.StopTheDramaNow.com) and wrote 'Stop The Drama! The Ultimate Guide to Female Teams' to give high school and college students the opportunity to learn effective communication and productive conflict skills before they enter the work world. Doc Robyn is passionate about contributing to the success of driven individuals everywhere through her book, presentations and events.
