Follow on Google News | New Publishing Company Launches, Flips Traditional Publishing Model Upside-DownInk-U-Bator Media Built On Unique Hybrid Publishing Model, To Focus on New and Rising Modern Media Stars
By: Ink-U-Bator Media Bechtold, a best-selling author, marketing expert and publisher for more than 35 years, said, “It’s time for the publishing industry to change. My new company changes the model so it works now and into the future.” Bechtold says his company is different because it shifts the focus from print to new media. “We publish on all media,” he said, “including books, audios, videos – even mobile apps -- on all applicable platforms, including Kindle, Nook, iPad, online and in print or on disc. But, our budgeting and profit structure is built with electronic media in mind. We’re also much more open to working with new, unproven writers and content creators in all media, through the unique mastermind group we’ve put together -- and we pay a 70% share of all the revenues with the creator of the content.” In the mastermind group, members can access training and work directly with the other members and with Bechtold personally. “I work with every member to create content that my new company will eventually publish for them,” Bechtold said. “We also continue to work with the author, even if rejected, providing specific advice and steps needed to make the work ultimately acceptable.” According to Bechtold, every new release the company publishes will come exclusively from members of the Ink-U-Bator Mastermind. “Our unique mastermind enables us to work directly with anyone interested in publishing today, in any medium, provide services no publisher has ever offered as a part of the standard developmental process, and pay far more than traditional publishers are willing to." The company has one release each slated for the months of April, May and June this year. The goal, according to Bechtold, is five new releases per month by the end of 2012, then five to ten new releases per month by mid-2013.
