As MHH Associates Chief Executive Officer, Mr Austin Hemingway has been responsible the firm’s daily operations as well as being integral to high-level decision making concerning company strategy. He has also been required to fulfil a communications role within the firm and externally. Although Mr Hemingway is being appointed the role of Interim President he will continue to work as Chief Executive Officer at MHH Associates.
MHH Associates’ new Interim President Mr Austin Hemingway has a strong reputation within the financial services industry, which has been shaped over 32 years in executive levels of corporate finance. Mr Hemingway has experience of high ranking positions at numerous financial institutions in Europe, USA, and Asia, including Tokyo in the 1990s where he worked for a division of Mizuho Bank, Ltd as Head of North American Operations. The new MHH Associates President has a range of abilities within the discipline of investment management including corporate administration, research, analysis, investment banking and strategy and execution. Mr Hemingway has a degree in Spanish and Physics from UCLA, and an MBA from the University of South Carolina.
MHH Associates’ new Interim President Mr Hemingway was positive when asked about his new role. He said “ Mr Masayoshi makes everything look so easy because he was such a professional. I hope I can make him proud and deal with this added responsibility in the same manner until his return. I’m definitely ready for the challenge at this stage in my career. MHH Associates was founded in 2002 by Mr Austin Hemingway together with Wakatsuki Masayoshi, and Antonio López Hernández. Their initial concept was reportedly to create a firm which provided clients with transparent and objective research into market opportunities. With a team of over 50 specialists handling sizable investments for Private and Professional clients, it would seem that the concept has been realised at MHH Associates.
