ABC premieres new singing reality show called Duets. Comment on the weekly performances.

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- If you haven't heard the buzz, ABC will launch an exciting new singing reality show called Duets this summer! The show takes some elements from other popular competitions such as American Idol, X-Factor,Voice and Jennifer Lopez’s Que Viva. We even see a little dash of Dancing With The Stars as the stars and contestants perform their duets. ABC brings some big talent to the show; Kelly Clarkson, Robin Thicke, Lionel Richie and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. The four will travel the country looking for that special talent deserving of being their singing partners throughout the competition. Each star will pick two stand-outs who will perform with them on the weekly show. One Duet will eventually win the competition and be awarded a recording contract.

Time will tell if ABC’s Duets will have the stuff to compete with the other popular singing reality shows. It certainly has the makings of a hit. We will follow the development of the show as it unravels as well as post our thoughts on the weekly performances.
