Teachers like the way the ActivBoard provides more freedom to move around the classroom and spend time with individual students. “It’s like having a second teacher in the classroom,” said Baehr. “Children are so technology smart, that sometimes the old ways bore them. The board allows them to learn at a speed they’re comfortable with and be engaged in the material at-hand.”

Neal chose to sponsor this classroom because the child of a team member is in the class. “This has been wonderful for the class,” said Stephanie Nolan, a designer with Charlene Neal PureStyle and a St. Martha parent. “This technology is the way of the future. As a parent, I’m glad my daughter is able to cultivate these skills early on in school.”
