EAGL has collection relationships with 60 counties throughout Indiana. Eagle Accounts Group President and CEO, Chet Klene, stated the EAGL is excited to begin this new relationship with the Shelby County Clerk. EAGL has current collection ties with Shelby County in collecting annual child support docket fees and traffic tickets. EAGL's proven strength and experience in managing and collecting governmental debt continues to grow in 2012. EAGL collects several types of governmental debt including traffic tickets, annual child support docket fees, probation fees, and personal property tax judgments.
Klene added that EAGL is able to provide resources to seek collection of past due debt that many state, county and municipal governmental agencies do not have. Successful collections add money back into the government’s budget for much needed projects. EAGL's collection agreement with the County provides that EAGL will process collections at no cost to Shelby County; fees are collected from the delinquent taxpayers.
Klene stated that these Shelby County court fines and fees will be collected from EAGL’s Bloomington Indiana office. EAGL opened the Bloomington location in 2011. Eagle Accounts is committed to providing superb service to Shelby County in order to recoup the moneys owed to the county.
