“For Ladies Who Lead” Benefit Draws Powerhouse Women Around North Carolina

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- “For Ladies Who Lead,” is a benefit gala to support The Queen’s Foundation’s mission to inspire girls and women for greatness. Proceeds of the event will sponsor girls statewide to attend The Queen’s Conference.

The annual conference coalesces all program participants the foundation has reached through its servant leadership, skill-building and life skills programs. The garden party-style gala will be held at the beautiful and historic Graylyn Estate in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on April 21, 2012 at 6:30 in the evening. TQF seeks women as their ultimate stakeholders. Nadia Shirin Moffett, Executive Director and Former Miss NC USA 2010 says, “The PowerHouse women in our state are our future board members, mentors to our girls and contributors to our cause. TQF has made it a goal that for every girl we reach in the state, we will provide a mentor. This is why events like these are so important. We cannot fulfill our mission without them.”

TQF has impacted the lives of over 150 girls and young women state-wide since it began in the fall of 2010. This benefit will give the girls and women the foundation aims to reach a tangible display of inspiration through the sponsorship and support of state and local PowerHouse women. TQF defines a PowerHouse woman as, “A woman of virtue and success that uses her gifts as a vessel to make positive contributions to the world.”
