April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY – Scientist, coach, and business leader Ran Zilca has developed a breakthrough new coaching method based on the latest research in positive psychology. Zilca’s ‘Ride of Your Life’ coaching method is designed to help others uncover their inner calling, chase their dreams, and write the next chapter in their lives.

Zilca recently set out on his own “Ride of Your Life,” a 6,000 mile ride only a year after obtaining his motorcycle license. On this coast-to-coast journey, he traveled the country’s back roads and met with prominent thought leaders and scholars.

Deepak Chopra, one of the experts Zilca met with on his ride, called Zilca’s Ride of Your Life journey, “a metaphor for the self transformational journey we all should strive for in our lives.”

In addition to Chopra, Zilca met with and interviewed some of the biggest names in the positive psychology field including Dr. James Pennebaker (Professor and Chair of Department of Psychology, University of Texas at Austin), Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky (Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside), and Dr. Barbara Fredrickson (Professor of Psychology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill).

“’Ride of Your Life’ began as an epic motorcycle trip to meet with some of the world’s top positive psychologists and personal-growth leaders like Deepak Chopra and Byron Katie. Through these discussions, along with illuminating conversations with folks I met along the way, I learned some of the key ingredients and steps to building a complete, meaningful life,” said Zilca.

“The Ride of Your Life coaching method is a natural extension of my own journey through the scientific field, business world, and life. Throughout my career I’ve focused on applying leading edge research from different disciplines to help develop and strengthen our mental and emotional wellbeing,” he added.

Zilca’s Ride of Your Life coaching method incorporates Five Steps for Finding Inner Peace: Build inner strength, Be present, Dump your ego, Take responsibility, and Let love rule.

Zilca’s research as Chief Scientist at bLife, Inc. and CEO of Signal Patterns has been focused on positive psychology coaching interventions and the study of individual strengths, leading to the publication of several research papers and patents together with leading behavioral scientists like Dr. Lew Goldberg and Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky. His coaching philosophy is based on the latest advances in neuroscience, positive psychology, and motivational research combined with his personal experience as a scientist, entrepreneur, author, husband and father.

A Board Certified Coach (BCC: http://www.cce-global.org/BCC), Zilca is currently offering Ride of Your Life coaching to a limited number of clients via phone. In addition, Zilca is training life coaches worldwide on this new method.
