New Video Highlights Life-Saving Effects of Red Light Cameras

March 30, 2012 - PRLog -- PHOENIX – Redflex Traffic Systems, a global leader in traffic safety technology, has released an inspiring new video highlighting the life-saving effects of red light cameras.  The video has received more than 2,000 views to date and is a part of Redflex’s ‘Why We Do What We Do’ series, which emphasizes the positive impact cameras have in improving road safety.  It includes national statistics showing how traffic safety cameras have reduced fatal red light running crashes in 12 cities across the country.  

Text in the video asks “What if we could do this,” depicting real red light running crash footage moving in reverse.  The text continues, “We can’t.  But we can reduce fatal red light running crashes.”

•   14% - Baltimore, Maryland
