Delta Electronics Manufacturing Corp. Achieves AS9100 Rev. C Certification

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 30, 2012 - Delta Electronics Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of RF/microwave and millimeter wave interconnect solutions, is pleased to announce its certification to AS9100:2009 (Rev C) Quality Management System (QMS) for Aviation, Space and Defense organizations. Certification to this standard places Delta in an elite class of supply chain manufacturers that are registered to this rigorous Aerospace and Defense standard.

The AS9100 quality standard is based on ISO 9001 guidelines, as well as additional stringent requirements specific to the Aviation, Space and Defense industries. Among other changes, revision C brings the standard in line with ISO9001:2008 and expands the scope of coverage to include land and sea based systems for Defense applications.

To gain the AS9100 registration, Delta needed to attain numerous organizational goals and provide resolute proof that continuous improvement is engrained in their corporate culture. The processes that were evaluated and critiqued exceed the typical ISO9001:2008 criteria.

The audit was completed by American Systems Registrar, LLC, Wyoming, MI, USA, a provider of third-party system registration and accredited by the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board {ANAB} under the Aerospace Registration Management Program, in accordance with SAE AS9104 A.
