April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- MultiQs, the company that provides its users with multiple queues for Netflix's streaming service, this week announced a browser extension that lets you add titles to your MultiQs' queues from within the Netflix website   In addition, parents can use the extension to deny access to the Netflix website for their children, instead redirecting them to their content appropriate queues in MultiQs.

Scott Chaney from MultiQs explains.  "While MultiQs.com lets you browse the entire Netflix catalog easily, and has some unique and powerful features Netflix doesn't offer, some folks said they'd also like the option to add titles to their queues while browsing in Netflix.  So we created a browser extension to let them do that."  Once the extension is installed you simply right click on any movie or TV image in Netflix.com and then click on the queue you want the title to go into.

The extension also lets parents control access to Netflix.com if they choose.  Chaney explains.  "Some folks had asked what the point of creating content filtered queues in MultiQs for their children was if the child could just go over to Netflix and access the entire Netflix catalog anyway.  So we addressed that concern as well."   If a parent chooses to implement this feature then only those queues with PINS are allowed into Netflix.com, all others are redirected to MultiQs where everything is filtered as defined by the parent.

For example, if a parent creates a queue for their children that filters out "Horror" movies, and everything with a rating higher than PG, but doesn't create a PIN for that queue, then when that child tries to access Netflix.com they will instead be redirected to MultiQs where all the content they see is filtered as defined.

The MultiQs extension is available for Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer.   While the extension itself is free, a MultiQs account is required.  MultiQs is free for 30 days, with no pre-payment information requested.  If the user chooses to extend the service they can do so for less than five dollars a year.  To install the extension or for more information visit http://MultiQs.com/ext
