The festival is scheduled from March 30 and will last upto April 5. Bollywood blockbusters like Khamosh, Mission Kashmir, Parinda and Parineeta will also be screened during the festival.
Born in a Punjabi family in Kashmir, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s love for Hindi cinema has made him a successful director and producer in Bollywood today. He currently heads his own company, Vinod Chopra productions. His critically acclaimed films include Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, Mission Kashmir, the Munna Bhai series, Parineeta, Eklavya: The Royal Guard, and the biggest blockbuster in the history of Hindi cinema, 3 Idiots.
