Island Vet Group install medical imaging from Xograph

March 30, 2012 - PRLog -- The Staffordshire headquartered Island Veterinary Group have just installed the first of three Konica Minolta Regius Sigmas supplied by Xograph Healthcare Ltd, a leading independent diagnostic imaging company with both Veterinary imaging and Medical imaging divisions covering the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

The established Island Group with over 40 years experience provide expert veterinary services to clients and their pets; they currently have seven working branches with their main three branches in Wombrook, Doncaster and Stafford, the three sites where the new Sigmas are installed.

The Sigma Computed Radiography (CR) system is ideal for the small animal practice or if required it can be configured to double up as a mobile equine imaging system offering a highly cost-effective alternative to conventional film and chemistry based veterinary radiography systems.  Measuring only W510mm x D610mm x H355mm and weighing less than 28kg the slick compact system is designed to fit onto a conventional work surface, making it the system of choice when space in a busy practice is at a premium.
