Before shooting a a single frame, he read over 400 books and thousands of articles, plus attended over two dozen major conferences.  Within months after spending a weekend shooting a short film about what one person can do, Briggs began working on a full-scale production that would ultimately take him and his crew of award-winning cinematographers on a worldwide quest for the best ideas, strategies and cutting-edge technologies to get the job done
.
The multimillion dollar feature includes rare new footage of China's ubiquitous green revolution, examples of how other countries and cultures are meeting the challenge with passion and ingenuity, and essential tips on how individuals and communities can take the Net Zero plunge at home.

“’Deep Green’ is an exceptional film with a universal message that we believe will resonate with audiences everywhere. We couldn't be more pleased to work with Matt in introducing this film to the world marketplace,” says Solid Entertainment President Richard Propper.
