Free Workshop For Job Seekers At The Afrikan Poetry Theater April 5, 2012

On April 5, 2012 from 6PM - 7PM, the Afrikan Poetry Theater will host a free workshop for job seekers. Dr. Larry Chiagouris, PACE University professor and author of The Secret to Getting A Job After College, will give a 1 hour presentation with advice to aid in the daunting task of finding work. Dr. Chiagouris utilizes the experience he gained from his background as a Madison Avenue executive to relay the message of using marketing tactics to promote themselves.

The presentation is open to the public. The Afrikan Poetry Theater is located at 176-03 Jamaica Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11432

Dr. Larry Chiagouris, Professor of Marketing at Pace University, is known as “a Branding Guru”, an “All-Star Marketing Strategist” by the media. His opinions on modern marketing practice have appeared in hundreds of media outlets throughout the world, including The Today Show, Fox News, and The Wall Street Journal. His advice to students has launched hundreds of successful careers.
