Short Sale Restructure Program for Homeowners

March 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Laura Lake of The Laura Lake Group with Keller Williams Realty in La Quinta, California announces the Short Sale Restructure Program to help homeowners’ short sale their home and get back on the path to their financial freedom.
“I believe in helping current homeowners live the American dream again, but this time, the right way. says Laura.  “This program takes the homeowner from the start; selling their home short, obtaining a rental home;… to the end and beyond; purchase a home again in as little as two years.”
Laura Lake has teamed up with Dora Paige of Franklin Loan Center, located in Palm Desert California to help homeowners through the “after the short sale” .  With this program we can work with the homeowners to help them achieve their financial freedom, purchase a home again, and truly live the American dream.
Highlights of our program:
1.   We meet with the homeowner to determine whether or not a short sale is in their best option, if it is, we immediately start the process with the Short Sale Lender(s) to obtain an approved short sale and market the home to get the best offer possible for the Short Sale Lender.  In some cases, we must 1st market the home and obtain offer before obtaining Short Sale Approval.  With all the current and upcoming Short Sale co-op programs, we strive to get our homeowners’ approved prior to listing the property.
2.   After opening escrow, we help the homeowners secure a rental property with favorable terms.  There may be the opportunity to find a rental that can later be purchased by the tenants.
3.   After everyone is settled, Franklin loan will meet with the clients to review their current financial status and guide them through the next couple of years to help get their credit and their debt ratio where it needs to be in order to qualify for a home loan again.  
4.   Once the clients are “loan approved “again, we assist with the home search and work closely with our clients to find the right home at the right price.
