Enter Conejo Valley Days Whiskeroo Contest and Santa Claus Beard Contest

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 29, 2012 - THOUSAND OAKS, CALIF.--Here's the perfect excuse not to shave: the Whiskeroo Contest at the 56th Annual Conejo Valley Days (CVD), Saturday, May 5 at the CVD site (23 Freeway, Janss Rd. exit in Thousand Oaks). The contest takes place at the Hillbilly Stage at 2:00 p.m. For a second year, a Santa Claus Beard contest will be held immediately following Whiskeroo.

   Judges select winners in six Whiskeroo categories: best beard, softest bread, best goatee, scroungiest beard, best mustache and most unique mustache. "Besides our Whiskeroo contestants, we hope to have at least 20 Santas participate into the Santa Claus Beard contest," says Robert Tatangelo, who is organizing the contests and himself a member of the Fraternal Order of Real Beard Santas.

   Contestants can register at the Badgeroo booth at CVD. No pre-registration is required. Contest entry is free. Prizes will be awarded to winners.
