With only five days to go until Mad Cop III gets underway, the first route of the journey has been revealed. Mad Cop will be passing through a number of towns on his way from Land’s End to Calais and is sure to be a sight to behold – dressed as St George and riding a rocking horse, he will be hard to miss!
This third Mad Cop challenge is the latest in a series of incredible charity ventures dreamt up by Andy Seery. The first Mad Cop challenge came about as a results of the Metropolitan Police Officer’s own recovery from a serious accident. Mad Cop I involved running from Trafalgar Square to Poland; the equivalent of 40 marathons in only 31 days.
The second Mad Cop charity challenge involved rowing a converted 13-foot topper yacht from the UK to the Ukraine.
This latest Mad Cop challenge, Mad Cop III, will involve Andy riding the roads of Europe on a rocking horse while dressed as St George. The rocking horse, Ella-Mae, is a specially adapted rocking horse made by legendary rocking horse makers Stevenson Brothers.
The first section of Andy's journey will see him riding through the following UK towns:
Lands End
Plymouth
Torquay
Exmouth

While in Bethersden, Andy will pass by the Stevenson Brothers workshop where his rocking horse was created before running to Calais via the tunnel.
