Irvine Chamber Economic Development Receives Awards at 32nd CALED Annual Conference

Chamber awarded for its efforts in economic development promotion and programs

March 29, 2012 - PRLog -- The Irvine Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Business & Economic Development (BED) was recently awarded for its efforts in economic development promotion and programs with its Cleantech India event as well as the weekly Irvine Micropreneur® Webinar Series.The award ceremony took place at the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED) 32nd Annual Conference in Sacramento, CA on March 21st 2012.

The Awards of Excellence program brings statewide public and professional recognition to those projects and programs developed during the previous year that have made significant contributions to the field of economic development.

Chris Lynch, VP of business and economic development at the Irvine Chamber notes that his department is excited to be recognized for the Chambers efforts in economic development, as the ICC BED strives to implement innovative and game-changing solutions to assist small business members and entrepreneurs. Lynch also comments,
